Sophia lands in a surreal spotlight when she joins Italy’s elite professional sports league, Serie A, while simultaneously starring in MTV’s Vite Parallele (Parallel Lives)—a reality show that depicts the lives and regimen of top-tier gymnasts. Like all too many in the sport, Sophia finds herself enduring brutal training methods, abusive coaches, and jealous teammates—all with the added pressure of being alone in a foreign country, speaking a new language, and having the nation’s eyes on her via ever-present cameras.

Sophia’s success in working through these confronting challenges is a testament to the power of determination and passion. Realizing that the tools she used to overcome physical and mental tests could assist and inspire others, she now shares her experiences and lessons-learned in her books, via live events, and through online offerings.

In all of Sophia’s ventures, she strives to help followers spark their own passion, drawing from that internal force she calls the Fire Within.
